Catherine Zeta-Jones suffers bipolar II disorder


What is bipolar disorder? It is psychiatric disease that falls in the category of mood disorders. The symptoms of bipolar I is different from bipolar II disorder. The patient mostly experiences the episodes of abnormally elevated energy levels. Experts also say that bipolar disorder symptoms can differ based on the levels of diagnosis. The patients abnormally experience manic and hypomanic episodes.

Recently, Catherine Zeta-Jones was admitted in hospital for bipolar disorder, bipolar II disorder. The husband of Catherine Michael Douglas is also suffering with throat cancer.

Catherine is under treatment. She is likely to be treated with psychotherapy and drug therapy. It is hoping that after the treatment the actress will lead a normal life. She would be able to carry out her routine works.

Catherine gave the interview to the People Magazine that shes feeling great and looking forward to starting work this week on her two upcoming films.

Catherine is the mother of two children. The name of son is Dylan Michael Douglas and daughter Carys Zeta Douglas.
