Chocolate Chip Walnut Pie
A bitter fact about pie recipes is that the preparation process of any pie recipe is not that easy. You have to be very quick to go through the mixing process of irresistible cookie dough filling as well as the shell should also not be prebaked while preparing any pie. Well, we share a chocolate chip walnut pie recipe below to enjoy in summers.
- Coarsely Chopped Walnuts ? to ? cup
- Semisweet Chocolate Chips 1 cup
- Milk 2 tablespoons
- Salt To taste or ? teaspoon
- Flour ? cup
- Vanilla Extract 1 teaspoon
- Large Eggs (at room temperature) 2
- Light Brown Sugar (Firmly Packed) 1 cup
- Sugar 1/3 cup
- Unsalted Butter (Softened) ? cup
- Foolproof Pie Shell
1 Prepare one Foolproof Pie Shell in your first step to make this recipe, and heat the oven to 350 degrees as soon as your shell is chilled.
2 Use an electric mixer to cream the butter but use it on medium speed. Pickup sugar and gradual beat in while creaming the butter. Add eggs one by one during this process but dont forget beating well each time. The next step is to add vanilla extract in this mixture and beat again. Now beat the salt and flour in your electric mixer in this mixture and blend well. Pour milk, blend and forget about the initial look of the mixture because it will be fine in the end. Finally, it is the time to add walnuts and chocolate chips in the mixture. Add and stir.
3 It is the time to pour your well-prepared filling into the chilled shell. You should use a spoon to smooth this filling process. Put this pie into the center rack of your oven and bake for around 50 minutes. Heat should be on 180 degrees halfway through. You will get golden brown top and perfectly set filling in the pie when finished, except for the very center. It may be slightly jiggle at the time you tap the pan.
4 Finally, let the pie cool and may use the wire rack for this purpose. You may also use this pie even when it is slightly warm but it is better to let it cool for between 1 and 2 hours in your freezer (only if you want to have it chilled). It is enough for 8 to 10 servings.
