Health of Skin
Skin is the soft, sensitive and outer most covering of body. It
performs many important functions such as protection of inner parts,
heat regulation, water resistant, control of evaporation and acts as a
storage centre for lipids and water. Skin is composed of three layers:
epidermis, dermis and hypodermis.
Being an important part of body it requires special care. Good skin
care including sun protection, gentle cleansing makes your skin
healthy and glowing for coming years. Smoking also makes your skin
older and contributes to wrinkles. It narrows the tiny blood vessels
in the outermost skin layer and decreases the blood flow.
Skin is a first line defense against any disease, infections and
germs. If it is not cared well, it may catch many diseases like
eczema, skin cancer, vitiligo, psoriasis, acne and aging etc. Proper
skin care delay aging process and prevent many skin problems.
For healthy skin, food plays an important role. Vitamin A is very good
for healthy skin which can be obtained from low-dairy products.
Skin care industry is booming day by day. America has spent millions
of dollars regarding skin products. There are many products which are
available in market for the health of skin. What about those products,
