Magnitude 3.6 earthquake hit the Hawaii at 2:12 p.m. on Thursday. Earthquake jolts also felt across Honolulu. The cause of earthquake is still undetermined. It may be due to internal movement or the break in the ocean floor.
For many seconds buildings and people felt shakes. These shakes spread near about 160 miles away, between the island of Oahu and Molokai. There is no report of any injury and damage.
More or less, Hawaii has to face earthquake. Most are of small magnitude.
“Let’s face it, if this was on the Big Island, they would’ve continued on with their day,” said Victor Sardina, geophysicist with the Hawaii-based Pacific Tsunami Warning Center. “They get these every day.”
Hawaii is the celebrity favorite vacation spot where they like to spend their sunny days on Hawaii beaches with families.
It was small quake thats why no damage has been reported.
