Randy Savage, the one who is well known for his spectacular shades, bulging biceps and blustering bloviation, is no more with us. Yup, the former professional wrestler Macho Man lost his life unfortunately in a car wreck while he was driving on a street in Seminole, Florida, a town in the Pinellas County side of the Tampa Bay area.
It is suspected that he may have had suffered a heart attack that led to losing his control over the vehicle and crashed into a tree. At that time, his wife was also with him in the automobile but she received minor injuries and was taken to Bayfront Medical Center.
The 58 years old champion spanned a wonderful ring career of more than two decades. He was the six-time World Wrestling Federation Heavyweight Champion, who strutted his stuff in gaudy costumes in order to show off his muscles and frame his championship belt. He knew the high volumes swaggering delivery.
Once he said that only one man can be the champion, everyone else is potential challenger. “I am the greatest intercontinental champion that ever lived, and I am the greatest professional wrestler that ever lived.”
According to the former wrestler Jimmy Hart, “Randy was one of the biggest names in the business.” This is so sad.”
Brian Blair, the former Hillsborough County Commissioner said that Savage was known to be the most frugal guy in the wrestling business. He was a wonderful guy.
Fidel Sierra, who wrestled with Savage, said at this occasion that Savages death is a big loss to the world of professional wrestling. He was always a great character in the dressing room. He would make us laugh. There were some guys didn’t like him, but he never treated him bad.
May his soul rest in peace..!!!
