Fort Hood shooting took place on 5 November, 2009 by Major Nidal Malik Hasan. But today, this incident is in news due to the victim of this shooting Patrick Zeigler. Patrick Ziegler is Fort Hood soldier. Now he is in his new house with his bride. It is a start of new life for him.
“Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” provided him a hope of life. They gave him a new house and arranged his marriage to make his house a home.
The story of Sgt. Zeigler was featured by ABC’s “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” on Sunday.
“My wedding day was a culmination of the entire year that we had just gone through together,” Zeigler said on the nationally-televised broadcast. “When I saw Jessica, it took the breath out of my chest. I couldn’t believe I was about to marry this woman.”
He has joined his post again and serving his country.
In the course of shooting, he was shoot four times. Left hand and left foot was damaged and seems useless. One bullet was also entered in his skull.
He is now very happy because he has found his dream girl.
