They talked about the advantages of Mobile Financial Services in Pakistan for Financial inclusion. To enable financial inclusion in Pakistan, State Bank is trying its best to provide all possible opportunities through an open and transparent regulatory regime that encourages more partnerships in order to improve financial inclusion.
Regarding this, Andrew Mitchell said that in Pakistan, more than half the adult population and two-thirds of women, do not have bank accounts or access to the financial services. Thats why, the UK supported the use of innovative mobile phone technology to empower poor people to pay bills and transfer money to their families in rural villages, and the UK will help further expand it to three million more people.
