Dumbarton Bridge

Dumbarton Bridge has become quite famous when a man tried to commit suicide on it. The news post has been updated and the man who actually threatened to end his life by hanging from over the Dumbarton Bridge on Tuesday afternoon has finally been caught by the authorities and is now in safe hands. The man who tried to mark Dumbarton Bridge as his final destination has been safely taken of the bridge and is now getting his mental level evaluated. Law enforcement officials had to do a lot to actually stop him from doing whatever he had intended to and after long talks and negotiations they were able to calm him down.
The whole scene started when on initial basis a 911 call came in at around 02:37 P.M. from passing by drivers who claimed that they are watching a man who is sitting over the bridge rail. Menlo Park police officials were the actual ones who immediately responded to the call and arrived at the mentioned scene within 2-4 minutes time.
A team that comprised of two members was formed on immediate basis that then started talking to the man in question. This was stated by Nicole Acker who happens to be the Dept.s spokes person. Acker further added that he was trying to keep a so called distance from the officials who were trying to change his decision as the man only allowed them to step within a maximum range of twenty feet.

Traffic was halted for nearly about two hours as the negotiations continued.
