Let me show you how to make a goody pumpkin face?
Witty or scary, realistic or stylized these are the shapes a Pumpkin face can get. Some of the pumpkin faces are carved, others are painted; still others have decor affixed to them.
In this article, I am going to show you how to creatively shape a pumpkin. Having a good pumpkin is important whenever you are carving in general. The first thing to consider is its size. If you are going to do any complicated work, you should use a bigger pumpkin. A pumpkin which you can essentially pick up easily with one hand is just going to be too small. Another thing is that, in general, the lumpier it will become. It is quiet difficult to get a round shape of the pumpkin. What’s important is that we have a nice, curved service on some side of the pumpkin.
You can even palm it with two hands. The canvas is right here, where we are going to put all of the details. Now, it gets all really lumpy and indented. But, that’s not going to be really important for us because we don’t need to use the entire pumpkin. A lot of creative pumpkin designs… generally, even like the more traditional ones will still have a primary face for the pumpkin. Keep in mind though, if you are doing something where you want to be able to do something all the way around the pumpkin, at that point, then, yeah, worry about having a perfectly round pumpkin. Otherwise, if you have a side, that’s good enough.
